Aquileia is situated 30 minutes far from very important historical centres, including: Cividale del Friuli, the Longobard town, Palmanova or the "star-shaped" town, Villa Manin in Passariano, resort of the Doge of Venice, and the Castle of Miramare in Triest. You can get to Venice in less than an hour.
Access by road: National Road n. 352 from Udine to Grado.
