More than 130 inscriptions are exhibited here, a very relevant group in Northern Italy. Many of them show - besides the text - graffiti representing the dead, often praying, together with plants and animals, symbols of heavenly life. The texts mention the name of the dead and their relatives, hints about their lives and their death. There are many linguistic peculiarities, like the absence of some letters or words alterated from their classic form: these documents are useful for the knowledge of the common language between 4th and 5th century.
