From a balcony, you can see the structures of the basilica inside the "folador". This floor is dedicated to the basilica in Beligna - Tullio property (South of Aquileia, along the road to Grado), discovered in 1894 and immediately investigated. It had a cross-shaped plan, divided in three aisles with an apse and an ambulatory. The Museum contains the mosaics and some inscriptions from the pavemente of the aisles and two large mosaic panels from the apse. The church is to be dated at the end of the 4th century; the cross-shaped plan, together with the images of the mosaic, suggest that it was a Basilica Apostolorum, similar to those in Milan and Concordia. We can find a relation with the Council against the Arians, held in Aquileia in 381, based on the authority of the Apostles: it is supposed, that the relics of some of them, namely Andrew and John, arrived in this church in 383. On this floor, we should notice other important funds, like the inscription of Parecorius Apollinaris, benefactor of the church.
